The Environment Agency has issued two flood alerts for Surrey.

It says water levels on the River Tillingbourne have risen due to the rain, which means roads and low-lying land could be flooded.

The affected areas include Chilworth and Shalford.

The other is for the Hoe Stream, including Woking, where the same conditions apply.

However the Agency points out the weather forecast is for a mostly dry day today.

It says: "We are closely monitoring the situation. Please remain safe and aware of your local surroundings and refer to the 'River and Sea levels in England's webpage for current river levels.

This message will be updated this evening, 17/11/22, or as the situation changes."
