A woman from Haslemere is helping police with their enquiries after a cyclist was seriously injured in a crash with a car which failed to stop.

The 68 year old man suffered broken ribs in North Parade in Horsham on Tuesday night (12 October) at around 9:45pm.

He was taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.

The 36 year old woman was driving a silver Ford C-Max, which was found later and recovered for examination.

Sussex Police are asking anyone who saw the crash, or has dashcam footage of the manner of driving, to report it online, or call 101, quoting serial 363 of 13/10.
