Woman in hospital after lorry hits railway bridge and rolls onto car in Farnham

A woman has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a lorry rolled onto her car in Farnham.

A multi agency rescue operation was including fire crews and the air ambulance was launched on Monday evening (11 July) at around 6pm on the Wrecclesham Road.

A heavy goods vehicle hit the railway bridge protection bar and rolled onto its side, crushing a Nissan Qashqai under the trailer.

The woman's injuries have been described as serious but non-life threatening.

The road remains closed for vehicle recovery
