Yellow weather warning for thunderstorms in Hampshire
We can expect some big downpours today
People in Hampshire are being warned to prepare for thunderstorms today.
The Met Office has issued a yellow warning.
It's much needed for the gardens, but we are warned that we could get some very heavy and thundery downpours.
The warning is in place from 10 am until 10 o'clock tonight.
We can expect up to 50 millimetres of rain within a few hours, if we get the slow-moving showers where we are.
The warning from the Met Office also says drivers should prepare for spray and sudden flooding which could lead to difficult conditions on the roads.
