Man arrested after person injured by car in Horsham

A man has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving after a person was hit by a car, causing minor injuries in Horsham.

Police say they are appealing for witnesses following an incident which happened close to Bluecoat Sports Centre at Christ Hospital in the town

Officers say a black Range Rover was reported as driving dangerously in the area between 9.55am and 10.15am on Saturday 30 October.

Officers are urging anyone who saw what happened – in particular anyone with dash cam footage – to report it online or call 101, quoting serial 426 of 30/10.

A 47-year-old man from Horsham was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

He has been released under investigation pending further enquiries.

The force has said it would urge the public not to speculate as investigations are ongoing.
