Three men have been arrested after fans spilled on to the pitch and confronted West Brom supporters following Southampton's 3-1 Championship semi-final play-off win.

One was held on suspicion of threatening and abusive behaviour, common assault of an emergency worker and obstructing a police officer.

The other two were arrested for going on to the playing area.

Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary say the majority of fans behaved "responsibly and respectfully".

Southampton will play Leeds United at Wembley in the Play-Off Final on Sunday 26th May for a chance to return to the Premier League.

Goals from Will Smallbone and a double from Adam Armstrong secured the win at St Mary's.
