In 2019, Free Radio 80s is getting even BIGGER and even BETTER! We're spreading our wings as Greatest Hits Radio comes to the West Midlands.
Comedy legend Dawn French will be joining us as the station voice of Greatest Hits Radio. Dawn is well-known across the UK for her many comedy and acting roles, including the unforgettable Geraldine Granger in The Vicar of Dibley, and is a perfect fit for a station that promises plenty of fun along with your favourite greatest hits.

What music will Greatest Hits Radio Play?
You'll still get all the biggest songs from the 80s - with a load more Greatest Hits from the 70s plus a sprinkle of mega-hits from the 60s and 90s thrown in for good measure. We’ll be bringing classic songs that stand the test of time to a region that has created its fair share of music royalty.
When does Greatest Hits Radio launch?
Greatest Hits Radio launches at 6am on Monday January 7th 2019.
