Body of a man recovered on Hunstanton beach
The death is being treated as unexplained but not suspicious.
Norfolk Police say they have recovered the body of a man on a West Norfolk beach.
Police were called to reports of the being found on Hunstanton beach yesterday afternoon (4 April 2024).
Emergency services attended including ambulance, air ambulance and coastguard.
Sadly the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
A police cordon was put in place while officers worked to understand the circumstances and a section of the beach was closed off but has now been lifted.
The death is unexplained but not believed to be suspicious.
A file will be passed to the coroner in due course.
