A woman from Scarborough is travelling down to London tomorrow ahead of the Queen's funeral on Monday.

Celina Taylor is going with her family to pay their respects and said: "The Queen has affected us all. I always knew I'd be quite upset about her dying but I never realised how awful it's made a lot of us feel. I want to be able to go down there to say 'I was there' and to show my respect and to support the Royal family.

"We're really lucky because we'll drive down to Croxley Green, which is just outside Watford, because my father-in-law is still there, and we'll jump on the tube so we can always stay there. We're quite fortunate in that way otherwise I don't think we'd have been able to afford to stay down there.

"I think it's brought people together, even people who aren't particularly royalists, and I think she's touched a lot of people even if you've never met the Queen. She's almost like a mother and grandmother to us all in a world where there's been so many uncertainties, the Queen has been the constant figurehead.

"I'm going to bring some flowers and lay them on behalf of my family that are living in Scarborough."
