Little Mix's Jade and Perrie reveal hilarious behind-the-scenes goss from 'Sweet Melody' video 😂

Little Mix fans STILL cannot get 'Sweet Melody' out of their heads! Despite the fact that it was released on 23rd October, fans of Jade Thirlwall, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Perrie Edwards have still been obsessing over the song, and it FINALLY topped the UK charts in January 2021!

The girls have now spoken out about the fierce music video for the song, with Perrie and Jade giving some hilarious behind-the-scenes jokes about it. After a video was posted on the Little Mix Instagram profile of the girls rehearsing for the 'Sweet Melody' video, Perrie revealed that Jade's beautiful braids had been causing her some hassle... 😂

Jade wrote, 'It was after this Perrie told me to move out of the way a bit after nearly killing her with my braids for the 173627th time,' as Perrie joked, 'Dear Jade’s braids. I nearly lost an eye. I got whiplash. And you went in my mouth a few times.'

This comes after the girls gave an incredible performance of the song on The Jonathan Ross Show on Saturday 21st November.

After Jesy Nelson announced she was leaving the band, the girls spoke about the recent release of their sixth album 'Confetti', with Jade opening up about her new relationship with Rizzle Kicks star Jordan Stephens as well as singing 'Sweet Melody' in an incredible water show.

The girls also posted some behind-the-scenes snaps from the show, writing on Instagram, 'Before we got drenched 💧🔥. Thank you for having us.'

All four girls look stunning in the video, with both Perrie and Jade debuting new hairstyles as they perform a pretty intense dance number with a fire backdrop.

Taking to Instagram, Little Mix wrote, 'The SWEET MELODY video is here 🔥 We know you've been wanting us to do a choreo video and we absolutely loved shooting this one!! Enjoy 😘🔥'. (sic)

After hearing the new song and watching the new video, Little Mix's loyal fans were quick to express their love for the track.

One wrote, 'HERE WE GO, ANOTHER BOP HAS ARRIVED 🔥🔥', with another writing, 'I LOVE SWEET MELODY'. A third then wrote, 'I HAVE SO MUCH TO SAY YET NO WORDS AT ALL'. (sic) Another excited fan then wrote, 'The transitions are incredible!!! You all look amazing'. (sic)

The girls also performed the song on their TV show Little Mix: The Search - but Jade was unable to perform as she was self-isolating!

The girls released a short teaser of the new track on social media ahead of its release, getting fans very excited!

Featuring close-up shots of their glossy lips, whilst Jade whispers the lyrics, "Doo-doo, doo-roo-doo-doo / Doo-roo-doo-doo, doo-roo-doo."
