The final performer for the BRITs has been announced

Following her fantastic performance at the GRAMMYs over the weekend the final performer has been announced for this year's BRITs.

Katy Perry will be taking to the stage next week in what will be her first UK TV performance in three years. The announcement was made across social media earlier today (14th February).

The 'Chained to the Rhythm' singer said, "I’m excited to come back to one of my favorite countries, where most of my favorite musical influences come from." sic

The former BRIT Award winner for International Female Solo Artist 2009 completes the star-studded line-up of performers for the biggest night in UK music, which includes previously announced Ed Sheeran, Robbie Williams, Bruno Mars and Little Mix, plus many more.

In keeping with the other performers Katy gets her very own emoji which she described as 'cute'.

This year's BRIT Awards will be hosted by Dermot O’Leary and Emma Willis on Wednesday 22nd February and we will have all the latest coverage from the O2 Arena in London, tune in for a special programme from 7pm and check back here.
