They are two of the world's most popular male solo artists, so it's no surprise fans have been calling out for a collaboration between former One Direction star Liam Payne and Canadian heartthrob Shawn Mendes.
Although fans of the pair have wanted a collab for a while now, it wasn't until Liam cheekily trolled Shawn on one of his latest Twitter posts that they got really excited.
The exchange all started when the 'Stitches' singer posted a number of photos of himself during a surfing trip, writing, 'Lmao. Where are these coming from!' sic
Replying to his tweet, Liam wrote, 'Sorry man I took them ... couldn’t help myself 🤷🏻♂️'. sic
WE ARE ALL ABOUT THIS BROMANCE! 😍😍😍
Fans were quick to jump on Liam's reply, demanding the pair work together for some new music in the future.
Although Liam and Shawn haven't confirmed any details of a collaboration, we totally ship a song by the two!

Speaking into the camera for his Instagram Story, Liam attempted to confirm the news in the Spanish language, revealing the single will be called 'Familiar'.
'Mi Gente' hit maker J Bavin also also shared a selfie with Liam to his own Instagram page. Alongside the snap he wrote, 'Brother from another mother @liampayne 🙏'.

In other Liam news, the singer performed his hit single 'For You' with Rita Ora at The BRIT Awards 2018 last week.
Joining Rita on stage for the final part of her performance, Liam looked dapper in a smart suit as he belted out the Fifty Shades Freed single.
