Lizzo has taken to TikTok to share an inspiring video in which she shuts down body shamers. In the video, posted earlier this week (9th June), the star tells body shamers, "I am beautiful, I am strong, I do my job and I stay on my job".

The 32-year-old begins the video with clips of herself working out, saying, "Hey, so i've been working out consistently for the last five years, and it may come as a surprise to some of y'all, but I'm not working out to have your ideal body type- I'm working out to have my ideal body type."

The singer continues, "And you know what type that is? None of your f---ing business, because I am beautiful, I am strong, I do my job and I stay on my job."

Lizzo can then be seen showing off her curves in various items of swimwear and lingerie, while continuing, "So, next time you wanna come for somebody, and judge them, whether they drink kale smoothies or eat McDonald's, or work out, or not work out- how about you look at your own f---ing self and worry about your own god damn body, because health is not just determined on what you look like on the outside."

She continues, "Health is also what happens on the inside, and a lot of y’all need to do a f---ing cleanse for your insides."

The star concluded the video by saying, "Namaste, have a great day", before signing off. Since posting the fiery video on Tuesday, the video has gained over 10 million views, collecting 3.4 million likes and over 85 thousand comments.

The comments are flooded with supportive messages for the star, with one fan writing, 'YAAAS QUEEN SAY IT!!!' (sic) and another saying, 'WE STAN A WOMEN WHO LOVES HERSELF 😌😌😌💗💗💗' (sic).
