Mel Gibson and Rosalind Ross welcome baby and reveal unusual name
It's his ninth child
Hollywood actor Mel Gibson and his girlfriend Rosalind Ross have welcomed a healthy baby boy into the world and called him Lars Gerard Gibson.
The 61-year-old’s representatives confirmed the happy news, with a source close to the couple telling People, “They’re thrilled and Lars is adorable. Their family is all around them and Mel is over the moon. They’re home and everybody is healthy and happy!”
It’s Mel’s first child with 26-year-old Rosalind, but his ninth in total. The actor already shares a daughter with his ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva and has seven children with his ex-wife Robyn Moore.
Mel and Rosalind have been together for two years and most recently attended the Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles where Rosalind showed off her baby bump.
No pictures of little Lars Gerard have been released yet.
