Molly-Mae Hague reveals the name she nearly chose for daughter Bambi

Immediately after Love Island stars Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury announced the news they were expecting their first baby back in September 2022, rumours went into overdrive as to what name the pair would choose for their baby girl.

As fans will remember, for months a number of theories were doing the rounds, with names such as Cloud and Halo becoming firm favourites. Of course, when Molly-Mae gave birth in January 2023, it didn't take the couple long to confirm they'd actually chosen the name Bambi, which led to a tonne of harsh criticism online.

But fast-forward over a year and Molly-Mae has been opening up about what name she considered before settling on Bambi.

When a fan asked her on Instagram: 'Baby names you considered but didn't end up picking?', Mol said: 'At the moment I'm obsessed with the baby girl name 'Brandy'. Would never use it because it's too similar to Bambi but I think it's very cute/cool.

'Any individual/quirky names I just love. Also I think boy names are SO hard. I genuinely don't have one name that I love for the future if we needed one'. (sic)

Since welcoming Bambi into the world at the end of January last year, 24-year-old Molly hasn't been shy in admitting the struggles she's faced during motherhood, with many fans praising the mum-of-one for her brutal honesty,

But it sounds like now Bambi is one-year-old, Molly is starting to enjoy life as a mum more.

When a fan asked: 'How are you finding motherhood to a toddler', Molly responded by saying: 'I wouldn't say she's a proper toddler yet but honestly motherhood now is everything I dreamt it would be. I can see it just getting better and better too. The older she gets the more amazing each day is.

'The first 6 months for me was the biggest challenge ever but now I feel very in control and happy.

'So many people used to say to me 'it only gets worse, it only gets harder', etc and it literally used to terrify me because I was really struggling... but for me personally it's just getting more and incredible each day'. (sic)
