Britain's Got Talent viewers were left completely stunned during last night's show when female magician Josephine Lee performed a magic trick live on stage.

The magician, who'd previously impressed the judges in her first audition, got into a tiny box wearing a red dress and placed her hands out of the top. After a few moments, Josephine managed to escape the box and revealed herself as one of her helpers wearing a black hooded cape.

If you missed it, watch her performance below:

Despite leaving most viewers and the judges in complete shock, some eagle-eyed fans think they've worked out how she performed the impressive trick in the semi-final.

Taking to Twitter to express their thoughts, some viewers think they witnessed Josephine being wheeled off the stage in the steps behind the box and then believe she 'switched' with one of the extras in the black cloak.

Did you work it out?

Despite impressing the judges with her performance, it seems the magician didn't have the audience at home fooled and failed to make it into the live final on Saturday night.

Instead, pianist Tokio Myers won the public vote with 9-year-old comedian Ned Woodman finishing second.

Watch Tokio's semi-final winning performance below:

They will join the other finalists from Monday and Tuesday night's show including DNA, Kyle Tomlinson, Matt Edwards and Issy Simpson.

In tonight's show, another eight acts will be giving it their all to win a place in that all important final. Lovable duo The Pensionairs will be performing as well as hoop man John Parnell and 16-year-old singer Rebuen Gray.

Yesterday ITV announced the news that they have brought forward the live final to Saturday night to avoid clashing with Ariana Grande's One Love Manchester concert, which is taking place on Sunday evening.

A statement released by ITV reads,

"Ariana Grande's One Love Manchester benefit concert is bringing artists and the public together, and will raise funds for the Red Cross's Manchester Emergency Fund.

"We have no desire to distract from this important cause, so we have taken the decision to move the Britain's Got Talent Final from Sunday night."

It was revealed this morning that all tickets sold out for the charity concert in just under six minutes.

Britain's Got Talent continues this evening on ITV at 7.30pm.
