If like us reality TV show Love Island has taken over your lives for the past two months, you're going to be totally upset that the show comes to and end on Monday 24th July.

What are we going to do without our daily fix of seeing what the Islanders have been up to and tagging our friends in Love Island memes 24/7?!

Who knew producers actually scout some of the contestants?! Olivia's mum appeared on Lorraine this week and admitted bosses actually wanted her daughter on the 2016 series, but Olivia turned them down as she'd only just come out of a long term relationship.

After a hugely successful series including the likes of Kem and Amber, Alex and Montana, Olivia and Chris and Marcel and Gaby, bosses revealed the final will take place on Monday 24th July.

SOB! 😭

Despite the show ending, it sounds like viewers are in for a treat for the final show. Dubbing it as 'The most unmissable party of the summer', bosses teased the final with this tweet.

After a number of rumours suggesting one individual Islander would win the £50,000 prize money, it has been confirmed that the money will be rewarded to the winning COUPLE.

Show host Caroline Flack had previously let slip that the show could change format from last year's final. Speaking on Sunday Brunch she said, "There is £50,000 that they share. If you saw it last year it gets to a point where you can, actually it might change this year so."

Despite this, bosses of the show have now confirmed the couple with the most votes will win the money.
