Zac Efron's new travel show 'Down To Earth' lands on Netflix TODAY
A new trailer has been released!
Along with heat radio, the sunny weather and TikTok, we've been endlessly binge-watching Netflix during lockdown! Whether it was shows like Tiger King or Selling Sunset, or even bonkers dating show Too Hot To Handle, the streaming service has proved very popular for many.
And now, following the addition of Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again in June, High School Musical star Zac Efron's brand new travel show Down To Earth has finally landed on Netflix today (Friday 10th July).
The new docu-series, which was filmed in 2019 before lockdown, will show Zac visiting different places across the world, including London, Lima, Iquitos, Sardinia, Costa Rica, France, Iceland and Puerto Rico, with Zac on a mission to learn how to live more live more sustainably.
The Greatest Showman actor is joined by expert Darin Olien on his quest across the world, with a brand new trailer dropping online last month.

Whilst filming in December 2019, Zac was rushed to hospital in Papua New Guinea, after contracting a nasty bacterial infection. The 32-year-old took to his social media pages on New Year's Eve to update his fans.
He wrote, 'Very thankful to everyone who has reached out. I did get sick in Papua New Guinea but I bounced back quick and finished an amazing 3 weeks in P.N.G. I’m home for the holidays with my friends and family. Thanks for all the love and concern, see you in 2020!' (sic)

In 2020, Zac's travel show Down to Earth premiered on Netflix. Landing on Netflix UK on 10th July 2020, the docu-series showed Zac visiting different places across the world, including London, Lima, Iquitos, Sardinia, Costa Rica, France, Iceland and Puerto Rico.
Here, Zac opted for his natural brown hair, and even grew out a beard.

November 2022
Zac was spotted with quite a different look in these photographs taken in November 2022 while filming for upcoming film The Iron Claw. Based on the real-life family of wrestlers, Zac will star as Kevin Von Erich alongside Lily James and The Bear actor Jeremy Allen White.
Over the years Zac has appeared in a number of popular films, including Baywatch, 17 Again, The Greatest Showman, and of course all three High School Musical movies, where he played the role of main character Troy Bolton... despite not actually singing in HSM1.
