The BRIT Awards 2021 with Mastercard took place at London's O2 Arena tonight (Tuesday 11th May), with Jack Whitehall hosting the biggest night in UK music.

Alongside some amazing live performances and artists picking up their well-deserved awards, viewers were given an almighty treat when BRITs legend Sir Elton John took to the stage alongside Years & Years star Olly Alexander.

The star-studded performance reportedly came about after Elton was inspired by Olly's performance as Ritchie Tozer in Channel 4’s hard-hitting drama It’s A Sin earlier this year.

Watch Elton John and Years & Years perform at The BRIT Awards:

Performing a cover of Pet Shop Boys' hit song 'It’s A Sin', the pair delighted both viewers at home and the 4000-strong crowd at the O2 Arena.

Despite not officially confirming the duet before the show, The BRIT Awards, Elton and Olly did drop some MAJOR hints at the possibly of collab.

Elton John shared a post on Monday 10th May with the word 'IT'S' on a very colourful backdrop. The word 'A' was then posted to Years & Years account, before the song title was complete with the word 'SIN' posted on the offivial BRITs Instagram account.
