As fans of the popular TV show Britain's Got Talent will know, co-host Ant McPartlin took a bit of a tumble on Monday evening's show.

Making quite the entrance as the live semi-finals started this week, Ant walked on stage while Diversity were performing, literally went flying, and of course, the moment was beautifully captured on camera.

The award-winning TV presenter has now given fans an update after the fall, sharing a video on the show's socials, with the caption: '#BGT semi-finals off to a flying start 😂😂😅 #AntOnDec'.

Speaking to camera, Ant's co-host Dec said in the video: "What was it? 'I nearly wet myself and farted at the same time?!' Let's see how he is. How are you Ant?"

Dec then came across Ant sitting down, where he admitted he was "a bit sore". He went on to tell his friend: "I'm resting my back. Well, it is a bit sore."

With Dec responding: "I'm not surprised!"

Ant then continued: "It was all right. I think the adrenaline gets you through it and then now it's a bit like: 'Ooh... I need a bit of ice on that'."

The TV presenter then confirmed he would be returning to the show today (31st May), which Dec was very pleased about saying: "Oh thank god for that, I'm not doing it on my own!"

The pair later shared another video backstage, where Dec presented Ant with a contraption which allows him to swing a hot cup of tea around without it going anywhere! 😮

All this week the Britain's Got Talent live finals are taking place, which has resulted in a shake up of the schedule on TV. The 2023 final will take place on Sunday 4th June at 7.30pm.
