Power tools stolen in Pimperne outbuilding burglary

Power tools have been stolen during a burglary at a North Dorset outbuilding, with an appeal from police to trace witnesses.

The break-in happened in the Portman Road area of Pimperne, between 3.00 and 3.15am on Friday (9th February).

It's believed two or three men, described as being around 30 years old, gained entry to the building.

They were disturbed by the occupants and left the scene in a white SUV.

Hammer drills and a nail gun were among the items taken.

PC Christopher Windows, of Dorset Police, said:

“I am appealing to anyone who saw or heard suspicious activity in the area around the relevant time to please get in touch.

“Also, I would ask residents to please check whether they have captured anything of relevance on either home CCTV or dashcam footage to help identify the suspects.”
