Woman charged in connection with fatal crash in Wimborne
40 year old cyclist James Raeburn died in a collision last October
A woman in her 20s has been charged in connection with a fatal road crash in Wimborne that happened in October 2023.
A red Vauxhall Corsa and a bicycle were involved in a collision on the B3078 Julians Road.
40 year old James Raeburn, who was riding the bike, died at the scene.
Dorset Police tell us a local woman has now been charged with causing death by driving without due care and attention while unfit through drugs; causing death by driving while over the prescribed limit; using a motor vehicle in a condition likely to cause danger; and failing to stop at the scene of an accident.
She's due to appear before Poole Magistrates Court on Monday 3rd June.
