More than 420,000 passengers are planning to travel through Bristol Airport between March 23 and April 7th - with this year's Easter period said to be its 'busiest ever'.

Bosses are predicting one of the busiest days will fall on Easter Sunday – 31 March.

That's when approximately 30,000 passengers will travel through the airport.

They are urging passengers to arrive at check-in at least a minimum of 2 hours before to scheduled departure time - to accommodate for the surge of people expected to travel through the terminal over the next fortnight.

Bristol Airport have curated a top list for those planning on travelling through the terminal - to make the process of getting through as seamless as possible.

Those include:

  • Have your boarding card ready
  • Remove laptop computers and other large electrical devices
  • Place liquids in separate liquids bags
  • Empty your pockets into the trays provided
  • Take off your jacket and/or coat

They've even shared advice for those passengers wanting to take Easter eggs on-board.

They say passengers are advised to keep any chocolate treats in your cabin baggage and to make sure they’re easily accessible.

There's plenty more advice for passengers on the Bristol Airport website.
