Bristol City 'not directly replacing' former CEO Phil Alexander
He stepped down from the role after less than 8 months earlier this week
After stepping down from his role earlier this week, Bristol City say they're not directly replacing the former Chief Exec, Phil Alexander.
Brian Tinnion and Tom Rawcliffe's will work closely with manager Nigel Pearson and his coaching team.
The chairman Jon Lansdown has called it the 'right approach' for the club.
Brian Tinnion will continue in his role, overseeing the footballing decisions of the men’s side of the club as Technical Director.
The Robins' Finance Director Tom Rawcliffe is going to be combining his existing role with becoming Chief Operating Officer.
All three - Brian, Tom and Nigel - will be supported by the Board chaired by Jon Lansdown and Sporting Group CEO Gavin Marshall.
Bristol City Chairman Jon Lansdown said: “With the football experience and knowledge of Brian and the financial and administrative skills which Tom can bring, we have a strong model for the foreseeable future.
"We are excited about this season and believe this is the right approach for us to be successful.”
