A lorry has partially fallen into the water at Bristol Harbourside by Revolucion De Cuba.

Avon Fire and Rescue Service was called to the scene at 7:19am this morning (21st October).

The lorry driver made it out safely before the service arrived.

Three fire engines, a boat and firefighters are currently trying to prevent the lorry from sinking.

A crane has also arrived to pick up the lorry today but it could take until tomorrow.

The fire service say the recovery could prove to be tricky as the lorry has water inside of it which could add around 20 to 30 tonnes of extra weight.

It's been confirmed the lorry is part of the production crew for Stephen Merchant's new TV show The Outlaws.

A statement sent to us by the BBC reads: "An accident occurred involving one of our production vehicles.

"No one was hurt or in the vehicle.

"We are investigating what happened and working on removing the vehicle as quickly and safely as possible.”

We understand yesterday (October 20) was the crew's last day of filming on the show.
