Thanks to schools across the UK, Sam Thompson has SMASHED his 1 Million Steps Challenge!

Thursday 2nd May was Hits Radio's Cash for Kids Day and it meant the final day of Sam Thompson's 1 Million Steps School's Challenge! Sam and a team of schools from across the UK got together to help raise vital funds to make sure children don't go hungry across the summer holidays this year.

Sam visited Park Hill Primary School in Wednesbury to complete his final steps and to find out how many steps he and his team of schools had completed. It's fair to say they SMASHED the target, completing a huge 11,604,206 steps! This means 182,551 children from across the UK will not go hungry this summer.
