Kids from Early Years Outreach Children's Centre in Gorton hopped on board a Thomas Cook airlines flight in search of Father Christmas.

The kids were greeted by The Manchester Airport Choir before meeting Santa's Elves and Courage the Cat before getting their faces painted.

Many of the kids are living below the poverty line and never traveled by air before and as part of Cash for Kids Mission Christmas they've been given the exciting opportunity to take a very special flight to see if they can spot Father Christmas in the skies.

The kids made their way to Gate 29 to board a special flight in search of Father Christmas. The Captain told the kids they need to sing Christmas songs as loud as they could to to help make the plane go faster.

The flight attendants hinted to the kids that they'd spotted Father Christmas out the window and they think he'd landed on top of the plane. The kids look out of the windows trying to spot him too.

The man himself then appeared and made his way down the aisle greeting all the kids and wishing them a Happy Christmas.
