Police appeal after man dies in crash near St Columb Major

Four others were treated for non-life-threatening injuries in hospital

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a fatal crash in Cornwall.

Officers were called to the scene on the Castle An Dinas Road near Quoit at around 4.00pm on Friday (5 April 2024).

It was reported that a collision had occurred involving a silver Toyota Corolla and a Black Mercedes GLC.

The local male driver of the Toyota, aged in his 30s, was pronounced dead at scene. His next of kin have been informed.

Four people who were travelling in the Mercedes were treated for non-life-threatening injuries in hospital.
