Man charged with murder of woman in Leicester
Tarnjeet Riaz was found with serious injuries on Bank Holiday Monday
A man's due in court in Leicester today (10/05) after being charged with the murder of a woman in the city.
44-year-old Tarnjeet Riaz, also known by her maiden name Chagger, was found with serious injuries at a house on Tarbat Road on Bank Holiday Monday.
Detectives were called by the East Midlands Ambulance Service to Tarbat Road shortly after 1.30pm on Monday 6 May after Tarnjeet was found dead inside an address.
Police investigating her murder say a 50-year-old man has since been charged with her murder.
