Whilst some celeb couples have been having babies and getting engaged in 2024, it hasn't worked out for everybody, with a number of couples in the world of showbiz announcing they've broken up.

From shows like MAFS UK and Love Island, to couples in the world of film and music, the first few years of 2024 haven't been happy for everybody!

Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti

After getting back together just weeks after their split in June 2023, Love Island 2022 winners Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti split again in January 2024, with Ekin-Su confirming she'd ended things with Davide.


Taking to Instagram to confirm the news, Ekin-Su said: 'The last 18 months have been a rollercoaster of ups and downs, just like every relationship. Davide and I both wanted to make this work as we cared deeply for each other. Unfortunately, I have recently made the decision to end our relationship and to go our separate ways.


'Breakups are never easy. For any couple. And we hope that our privacy will be respected at this time. I enjoyed our time together and will cherish the memories we made.


'Thank you for your continued support. It's been so lovely to have you follow our Love Island journeys together since the villa and we hope you'll continue to follow our careers as we go off in our own directions'. (sic)

Peggy Rose Lawrence and Georges Bert!

Married At First Sight UK couple Peggy Rose Lawrence and Georges Bert took to Instagram to confirm they'd split on Valentine's Day! The couple, who met during the 2023 series of the show, revealed they were both heartbroken over the split in separate statement posted on social media.

Ella Thomas and Tyrique Hyde

Love Island 2023 couple Ella Thomas and Tyrique Hyde split in February 2024, going on to delete all trace off each other from their social media accounts.

Erica Roberts and Jordan Gayle

Another couple from the 2023 series of Married At First Sight UK to part ways was Erica Roberts and Jordan Gayle. Just days after the second reunion show aired at the end of February, Erica took to Instagram to confirm the pair had split, but admitted there was no bad blood between the two.

Molly Marsh and Zachariah Noble

Love Island 2023 couple Molly Marsh and Zachariah Noble split after seven months together in March 2024. A representative for the pair told the press: "Love Island's Molly Marsh and Zachariah Noble have made the decision to end their relationship in the last week. They both are still extremely close friends and will be supporting each other in their next ventures.


"The relationship has ended on good terms for both of them, and they wish nothing but the best for one another. They have both said, 'relationships don't need to always end sour and sometimes parting as friends with the best memories is the best thing for everybody'."

Georgia Steel and Toby Aromolaran

Just weeks after returning to the UK, Love Island: All Stars couple Georgia Steel and Toby Aromolaran confirmed they'd split. Georgia released a statement on Instagram, where she confirmed it was Toby who chose to end things.

Jeff Lazkani and Chelsea Lazkani

After nearly seven years of marriage, Selling Sunset star Chelsea Lazkani filed for a divorce from her husband Jeff Lazkani in March 2024, citing "irreconcilable differences". The pair share two children together, five-year-old Maddox and three-year-old Melia.

Chance the Rapper and Kirsten Corley

At the beginning of April, Chance the Rapper and his wife Kirsten Corley announced they'd split after five years of marriage.


The pair released a joint statement on Instagram, writing: 'After a period of separation, the two of us have arrived at the decision to part ways. We came to this decision amicably and with gratitude for the same time we spent together. God has blessed us with two beautiful daughters who we will continue to raise together. We kindly ask for privacy and respect as we navigate this transition. Thank you.' (sic)

Isla Fisher and Sacha Baron Cohen

Hollywood couple Isla Fisher and Sacha Baron Cohen announced they are getting a divorce in April 2024. Sharing a joint statement, the pair told fans: 'After a long tennis match lasting over 20 years, we are finally putting our racquets down. In 2023, we jointly filed to end our marriage.


'We have always prioritised our privacy, and have been quietly working through this change. We forever share in our devotion and love for our children. We sincerely appreciate your respecting our family's wish for privacy.'

Jon Richardson and Lucy Beaumont

Comedy couple Jon Richardson and Lucy Beaumont announced in April that they are divorcing after nine years of marriage. Releasing a joint statement, the pair said: 'After 9 years of marriage, we would like to announce that we have separated. We have jointly and amicably made the difficult decision to divorce and go our separate ways. As our only priority is managing this difficult transition for our daughter, we would ask that our privacy is respected at this sensitive time to protect her well-being. We will be making no further comment.'

Stephen and Daniel Lustig-Webb

Gogglebox stars Stephen and Daniel Lustig-Webb announced in April they were getting a divorce after six years of marriage. Despite the shock split, the pair confirmed they are still very good friends.

Aubrey Paige and Ryan Seacrest

Following three years together, American TV host and producer Ryan Seacrest and his girlfriend, model Aubrey Paige, split. A source close to the couple said: "After three beautiful years together, Ryan and Aubrey have mutually decided to part ways."
