Dianne Buswell breaks silence on Joe Sugg 'split' rumours

They've been dating since 2019 following Joe Sugg's participation on Strictly Come Dancing, but in recent weeks eagle-eyed fans have been worrying that the YouTuber has split from girlfriend Dianne Buswell!
The couple, who quickly moved in together after going public with their romance, spent Christmas apart this year, with Dianne flying back to her native Australia to be with her family.
As well as this, the pair haven't shared a picture together for 11 weeks, with the last arriving on Bonfire Night.
However, following weeks of speculation, Dianne has now broken her silence on the split rumours, admitting the pair are both just very busy right now.
Are Joe and Dianne still together?
Speaking to the Express about jetting over to Australia for Christmas, Dianne said: "It's very rare I get to see my family so I want to go and make the most of it and that's what I did.
"The speculation comes from a good place, but I go home and see my family and don't even worry about it."
When asked if Joe will be in attendance at the Strictly live tour, Dianne added: "He's really busy with work as well but whenever he can he'll come to watch."
Speculation that the pair had split first arrived in December, when Dianne announced she was heading home to Australia for Christmas.
Sharing photos of herself on the flight, Dianne wrote on Instagram: 'I'm Almost in the land of oz !!!! What a difference 24 hours of flying makes 😂😂😂 then vs now! 🇦🇺 been practicing my Australian accent on the plane ! I’m rusty!' (sic)
After seeing her posts in Australia, and noticing Joe has remained in the UK, fans of the pair were quick to speculate if they'd split.
One wrote: 'Have you and Joe now split up?', with another asking: 'Are you and Joe still together ??'. (sic)
Another added: 'Have Dianne and joe ended it..? Feel like I don’t see them together anymore', with a fourth commenting: 'Where’s Joe????'. (sic)
Others were quick to defend the couple, with one commenting: 'Do people realise Joe, and Dianne do not have to be together all the time. No, they haven't split they were together at the work party, and Dianne and Joe live together. And I don't blame them if they want to be more quiet on social media because comments like these are not nice at all.' (sic)
Another wrote: 'Has anyone actually thought that maybe Joe wanted to spend Christmas with his family and to see Zoe. I'm sure he wants to see his niece Ottlie open her presents. As after all Christmas is mainly for children.' (sic)
A third then added: 'Y'all joe is probably spending with his fam. He's been going to Australia the past few times. He probably wants to spend it with his fam and Dianne rarely sees her fam. It's okay for her and Joe to be apart. They are still together I'm sure'. (sic)

Both Ben and Kristina have denied rumours that Ben was still with his ex-wife Abby Blayney at the time they started dating, with the pair claiming they didn't get together until a year later.
Things are going well however, the pair now share a daughter together called Milena and are in a happy relationship.

Despite this, things didn't work out for the couple.

When Countdown presenter Rachel Riley appeared on Strictly in 2013 she was married to her ex-husband Jamie Gilbert. However, after just 16 months of marriage, the pair announced they were set for divorce in November 2013.
Fast-forward to 2016 and Rachel revealed she was in a relationship with her 2013 Strictly partner Pasha Kovalev... And the pair welcomed a baby in 2019, with another arriving in 2021.
Georgia May Foote and Giovanni Pernice
Georgia May Foote was dating her Coronation Street co-star Sean Ward when she joined the show in 2015. But when rumours circulated that the couple's relationship wasn't going well, they split in December 2015.
Georgia was then spotted getting very cosy with her Strictly partner Giovanni, with the pair enjoying a holiday to Disneyland Paris for New Year.
Despite this, the couple ended their relationship in August 2016.

After weeks of rumours, Joe Sugg appeared to confirm his relationship with Strictly Come Dancing partner Dianne Buswell with a photo on Instagram, the caption read, 'I may not have won the glitter ball, but I've won something a million times more special.'
The pair have been loved-up ever since!
Gemma Atkinson and Gorka Marquez
Radio presenter Gemma Atkinson and professional dancer Gorka Marquez were first linked in the 2017 series, and got together whilst on the 2018 annual tour together. They moved in together in December 2018 and welcomed their daughter Mia in summer 2019. The couple then announced their engagement at the start of 2021.
In 2023, Gemma and Gorka then welcomed their second child, a baby boy called Thiago!

However, just one year later in January 2020, Giovanni confirmed the pair had split.

Strictly 2022 contestants Tyler West and Molly Rainford confirmed they were dating in March 2023, after growing close during the live tour. The pair confirmed they were dating during a TikTok video, leaving fans buzzing.
Back in May 2022, Dianne spoke with OK! Magazine, where she hinted at wedding plans with Joe.
She said: "Joe’s like my little rock. He’s so supportive – we’re each other’s rock. He’s so busy with his work and I’m so busy with mine, but when we’re finally together after our crazy days, it’s so lovely.
“Even though sometimes it might be weeks when we’re apart because of me touring or him working, we both have so much respect for each other’s jobs that it’s so easy and so chilled.
"He’s amazing, I couldn’t do it without him, and vice versa."
