We all know that pop star Dua Lipa has had some amazing hits such as 'One Kiss' with Calvin Harris and 'New Rules', both becoming number 1 singles in the UK, however it seems that even at the tender age of 12, Dua Lipa was a promising singer.
In a video uploaded to YouTube the 'IDGAF' singer can be seen performing at a school in Kosova, where she spent part of her childhood. Dua can be seen standing on the stage in front of a grand piano, as she belts out Alicia Keys's 2007 single 'No One'.
Looking super confident as she holds a microphone and sings along to the backing track, Dua receives a round of applause from the audience. Later on in the video, Dua can be seen singing in another language alongside another classmate who is wearing red.
Fast forward 10 years and Dua Lipa is now 22-years-old and has a mega successful year. Not only has she had two number 1 singles in the past 12 months, she also won two BRIT Awards earlier this year, for British Breakthrough Act and British Female Solo Artist. At one point, Dua brought her young siblings on stage with her to collect her award, and she later told us about how they felt. Watch our interview below.
A few months after the BRITs took place Dua dropped her latest single with superstar DJ Calvin Harris. The single 'One Kiss' went to number 1 around the world and stayed at number 1 in the UK for eight consecutive weeks. The music video has now had over 200 million views on YouTube in just a couple of months and continues to be a hit with fans.
