Ed Sheeran and childhood sweetheart Cherry Seaborn announced their engagement on Instagram back in January 2018, and now, news has broke that the couple were in fact married by the end of the year in a top-secret winter ceremony at his country estate in Suffolk.
In efforts to keep the ceremony small and intimate, none of the 'Shape Of You' singer's celebrity pals were invited. A source close to Ed revealed that there were only 40 people at the wedding, saying, "It was very quiet – just Ed’s oldest school pals, limited family and the priest."
Despite having his plans to build a wedding chapel on site rejected, the 28-year-old and his long-time love tied the knot at his country estate in the pair's childhood village Framlingham, in Suffolk.
Not to worry though- the pair are reportedly planning a summer-time bash with those who didn't know about the wedding, including their famous pals and work friends.

The source also revealed, "He wanted no fuss and he wanted it to be something entirely for them – just a tiny winter wedding.
"Neither of them were that fussed about making a big deal about it. Cherry just wanted to get it out of the way without any problems or intrusions.”
Fans went wild, with one commenting, 'CUTEST COUPLE IN THE WORLD' sic and another saying, 'Congratulations & Best wishes for a very happy and blessed life🙏🏻🎉❤️🎉' sic.
