Ed Sheeran set for Home and Away appearance
The episode will air later this year
Ed Sheeran has filmed a guest appearance on popular TV soap Home and Away, while on his Australian tour.
The singer-songwriter was snapped by paparazzi shooting scenes at the show’s Palm Springs location in Sydney.
He was also pictured working alongside Home and Away favourite ‘Marylin Chambers’, who is played by Emily Symons in the soap.
According to a representative for the show, the BRIT-award winner “will appear as himself in the series, but storyline details about what brings Ed to Summer Bay are being kept under wraps for now.”
After a day of filming, Ed was seen leaving Palm Springs by boat and was spotted arriving back at Sydney Harbour via seaplane.
The episode will air later this year.
Meanwhile, the ‘Thinking Out Loud’ singer has announced that he has launched a new record label called ‘Gingerbread’.
The 24-year-old has already signed British singer-songwriter Jamie Lawson, and plans to discover more talent ahead of his 2016 tour.
