Waterloo Road's newest member has a VERY famous mum and sister

Hattie Dynevor plays the role of Libby Guthrie

If like us you've already started to binge the new series of BBC school drama Waterloo Road, you've no doubt witnessed newcomer Libby Guthrie, played by actress Hattie Dynevor, create drama at the now infamous school.

But as fans enjoy series 13, many viewers have realised actress Hattie has a very recognisable face, with many discovering she actually has a VERY famous mum and big sister!

Who is her mum?

Hattie's mum is Coronation Street legend Sally Dynevor, who of course plays the iconic role of Sally Webster in the hit ITV/STV soap.

When news of Hattie's role was first announced last year, mum Sally took to social media to share her pride. She wrote: 'So proud of you @hattiedynevorr joining @waterlooroad playing Libby Guthrie. Such a fabulous cast and crew.' (sic)

Who is her sister?

As if having a famous mum wasn't big enough, Hattie's older sister is Phoebe Dynevor, best known for playing the role of Daphne Basset in Netflix drama Bridgerton!

If you're an original viewer of Waterloo Road, you'll also know that Phoebe also appeared on the show way back in 2009, as series regular Siobhan Mailey.

It's safe to say talent certainly runs throughout the Dynevor family!

What role does Hattie have in Waterloo Road?

20-year-old Hattie has joined the cast of Waterloo Road for series 13, playing the role of school girl Libby Guthrie.

Libby arrives a few episodes into the new series as Mr Guthrie's daughter, having stolen her mum's credit card to book a flight back to England from New Zealand.

Although Libby seems to be innocent and sweet at first, she quickly manipulates a number of fellow students, as well as causing drama for teachers such as Miss Walker, Miss Spratt, and Mr Guthrie.
