Coronation Street's Helen Flanagan reveals the gender of her unborn baby
She's pregnant with her second child
Coronation Street actress Helen Flanagan delighted her fans earlier this year when she announced she was expecting her second child with her footballer boyfriend Scott Sinclair.
Now, eight months into her pregnancy, Helen has revealed she's having another baby girl after finding out the results during a lavish holiday to Dubai with Celtic FC player Scott.
Speaking to OK! Magazine, Helen revealed she received the results in an envelope so she gave it to hotel staff who later organised a reveal party for the couple.
She told the publication, "They put balloons in a big, decorated box which was brought into the restaurant. We unwrapped it and, when the lid came off, pink balloons floated out!
"We would have been thrilled if it was a girl or a boy, I’m just lucky to be able to have a baby. I will love this baby just as much as I do Matilda."
Helen first announced she was expecting her second child back in December 2017. Speaking to OK! Magazine about their happy news, Helen's boyfriend Scott revealed it was a 'surprise'.
Scott told the publication, "It was a little bit of a surprise. I was away in Dubai with my family. Helen couldn't come as she was filming. She found out on a Thursday but had to wait until I got home five days later to tell me."
Helen then added, "I did three more tests just to make sure it was correct! I had a very strong feeling I was pregnant, so I wasn't surprised."
Earlier this month, Helen, who plays the role of Rosie Webster in Coronation Street, shared a photo of herself with her on-screen mum Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor) to her Instagram page announcing she would be temporarily leaving the soap.
Showing off her growing baby bump, Helen revealed to fans that it is her last month on set, with the actress set to take time off for maternity leave. Admitting she would love to return at some point, Helen wrote, 'Love this pic we took the other day on set, love this lady 💗xxx my last month @coronationstreet before my maternity leave going to miss everyone so much especially my screen mum and sister @brookelevivincent 💗 definitely want to return as Rosie just not sure when that will be 👶❤️xxx sic

The new arrival will be Helen and Scott's second child together. After meeting in 2009, the couple welcomed their daughter Matilda together in June 2015.
Helen's second child is expected to arrive in the coming months.
