The Jameson Empire Awards Winners List
All the winners at the star-studded event
Last night’s Jameson Empire Awards at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London saw a very different crop of stars triumph compared to fellow major awards ceremonies.
Voted for by the cinema going public, actors and movies largely overlooked by The Oscars and The BAFTAs were big winners on the night.
James McAvoy, Emma Thompson, Michael Fassbender, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug and Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa were all honoured with prestigious gongs.
Tom Cruise, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Hugh Jackman, Simon Pegg and British director Paul Greengrass all picked up special honours.
The multi-award winning Gravity, a hit with critics and cinema-goers alike, also picked up two awards on the night.
