Since her monumental rise to fame in 2007, pop superstar Katy Perry has donned a number of extreme hairstyles. As well as dying her hair more or less every colour in the rainbow, the 'Roar' singer has experimented with styles, rocking a platinum pixie cut in recent years.

But now, showcasing a brand new look to her followers, Katy uploaded a stunning snap of herself on Instagram with celebs hairdresser Chris Appleton, showing off some long, blonde, wavy locks.

Looking completely unrecognisable from her recent pixie look, fans of Orlando Bloom's fiancée were quick to comment on the snap, complimenting her new look.

One user wrote, 'WOW, WOW, WOW!', with another adding, 'Best hair EVER on you'.

A third then wrote, 'Wow, you have such a versatile look that you can pull of anything. I love your new beach babe look!'.

Another complementary fan wrote, 'Major hair envy'. sic

Despite Katy's new look being a massive hit with fans, it didn't last long! Just hours later, Katy transformed herself once again as Little Mermaid Villain Ursula, for a special Disney night on American Idol.

Katy, who is a judge on the popular talent show, painted her face purple as she wore a black sequin dress, featuring protruding octopus tentacles.

She looks great! 🤣

Meanwhile, fans will be hoping for a brand new Katy album soon, following her massive album 'Witness' in 2017. Featuring songs like 'Swish Swish', 'Bon Appétit', and 'Chained To The Rhythm', the collection of work was certainly a hit with fans.
