There's no sugar coating it - the lockdown has been hard on pretty much everyone, but we're all finding ways to see the joy in the world and stay positive. Former One Direction star Liam Payne, for example, is sadly unable to be with his son Bear Grey Payne in person, but thankfully has a good relationship with ex Cheryl and has been able to chat to him on video.

Liam has now opened up about co-parenting in lockdown, speaking about how three-year-old Bear has been making him laugh with his antics - but also how he's brought his dad to tears, with a heartfelt, innocent plea to see him.

Speaking in a YouTube video, Liam gushed over his son, "Bear has been extremely funny at the moment. Very cute as well. It has been the toughest time at the moment being away from him.

"On FaceTime I've had everything from him jumping up and down on a trampoline in wellington boots, playing a ukulele, wearing a princess dress and a fireman's jacket. If you can imagine that. That is what he was doing at the time!"

Of course, younger children might not grasp the concept of lockdown, and Liam explained that Bear broke his heart on a video call the other as he doesn't understand why he can't see him, and said he "needed" him.

Liam explained, "Sometimes he wants to say hello on FaceTime and other times he doesn't want to say hello. I used to be like that. I can see a lot of myself in him. The other day he said, 'We need you here now, Daddy'. Bless him... made me want to cry."

Cheryl has also opened up about little Bear's behaviour during lockdown, sharing a hilarious but adorable video of herself trying to talk him out of going to the park.

Cute!
