Over the weekend the news emerged from a national newspaper that One Direction would be 'taking a break' early next year.
Despite this not being confirmed by the band themselves the internet has gone into meltdown with fans across the world expressing their dismay at the news.
Hits Radio's Entertainment Hub recently spoke to Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne to find out what they'd like to do outside of One Direction.
Darryl Morris spoke to Louis who gave him strong hints that he wants to concentrate on being a talent show judge and helping others achieve the success 1D has, talking about The X Factor he said, "you can't deny the opportunity that it gave to us boys'.
Jo Parkerson also caught up with his bandmate Liam to talk to him about working with his girlfriend.
Liam said they often write together and also hinted he wants to produce other artists.
Finally, the Entertainment Hub caught up with Harry Styles' good friend, Comedian Jack Whitehall who said he thought his friend has a bright future in acting.
It looks like the Harry might have Hollywood in his sights as former *NSYNC singer Lance Bass, another good friend of Harry's has been quoted telling a national newspaper that the One Direction singer will be moving to Hollywood saying, "Harry is going to live in Hollywood, his house is in the same neighbourhood as Lisa Rinna. It will be amazing for Harry".
