Made In Chelsea's Maeva and James reveal baby's gender

The couple are expecting their first child

Following their engagement and pregnancy announcement at the end of the last series, Made In Chelsea couple Maeva D'Ascanio and James Taylor have now shared even more good news with fans.

The happy couple, who are currently appearing in Made In Chelsea: Mallorca, announced during a sweet gender reveal they are expecting a baby boy!

In scenes which aired on Wednesday (24th August) night's episode of the MIC special, James organised a cake to be delivered to the villa to reveal the gender of their baby. As Maeva nervously cut into the cake, the engaged pair were thrilled to learn the sponge was blue!

Sharing the cute moment on Instagram, Maeva later wrote: 'It’s. A………..BOY! 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙'. (sic)

Fans of the show were quick to comment on the post. One wrote: 'Such a wonderful scene, I’m so happy for you both 💙💙💙', with another adding: 'Knew it would be a little boy, congratulations both so happy for you 💙💙💙'. (sic)

A third wrote: 'Congratulations to the both of you, so happy for you 👌👍👊', with another commenting: 'Loved this 😍 How perfect ❤️'. (sic)

After James awkwardly turned down Maeva's proposal during series 23 earlier this year, the couple couldn't wait to reveal their happy news when James whisked his girl off to Italy.

Not only did James propose in Rome, the couple also shocked fans by announcing they were expecting their first child together.

Speaking to HELLO! Magazine at the time, Maeva confessed: "All my dreams are coming true at the same time. I still don't believe it! It's all amazing - I just want to enjoy it all as much as I can."

James said: "We are more excited every day. My dad told me that when he had his first child, he never thought he could love something so much. And I'm starting to get an inkling of that feeling as this baby growing in Maeva's tummy is pretty special."

Maeva and James' baby boy is due in November.
