The 91st Academy Awards, better known as the Oscars took place last night in Hollywood, and saw hundreds of celebrities take to the red carpet and infamous stage at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, for the biggest night in the film industry.

The night was full of memorable performances and speeches, but there was one performance that stunned everyone, and that was pop star Lady Gaga, with her co-star from A Star Is Born, Bradley Cooper, performing 'Shallow' from the award-winning film.

The pair took to the stage, with Lady Gaga dressed in a stunning black dress, and Bradley Cooper in a black tuxedo. The pair started singing the duet in front of a grand piano, before Lady Gaga sat down at a grand piano, and began to play. The pair gave their performance everything, and the emotion the song brought up between them was evident.

For viewers watching at home, Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper's performance was all filmed upstage, meaning the audience became the backdrop of their performance.

Last night, Lady Gaga also won an Oscar for Best Original Song, thanking Bradley for his involvement saying, "There's not a single person on the planet that could have sang this song with me but you."

Lady Gaga held back her tears and she went on to tell her fans, "It's not about winning, but what it's about it not giving up. If you have a dream, fight for it."
