Lewis Capaldi's ex Paige Turley confirmed for Love Island

After months of speculation, ITV finally confirmed who will be entering the Winter Love Island villa on Sunday 12th January, and the line-up includes a few names we've already heard of!
As well as Rochelle Humes' younger sister Sophie Piper joining the show, Lewis Capaldi's ex-girlfriend Paige Turley has also been confirmed, with the 22-year-old confirming she dated the Scottish singer in her pre-show interview.
When asked what her 'claim to fame' is, Paige said, "Lewis Capaldi is my ex boyfriend. We went out when we were younger, I was about 17 or 18."
Admitting the pair are still mates, Paige added, "We were together for about a year. It ended really amicably and we’re still pals."

You may also recognise Paige as she appeared on Britain's Got Talent back in 2012, performing Birdy's hit track 'Skinny Love' to judges Simon Cowell, David Walliams, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon.
Despite being just 14-years-old at the time, the West Lothian singer impressed the judging panel, sailing through to the next round. However, after making it through to the semi-finals, Paige was unable to land a spot in the big final.

Meanwhile, fast-forward to 2020 and Paige is back on our TV screens looking for love. Revealing she rated herself an 8/10, Paige describes her ideal man as, "It’s so cliché, but tall, dark and handsome. He’s got to be quite witty with a bit of banter and something about him. I like a guy with a strong personality, he knows who he is and what he wants."
And it sounds like she's willing to go as far as it takes to find love, saying, "I do want to go in and make friends but we are all there to find love. I’m going to express how I feel."
We wonder if Lewis will be voting for her? 🤔
