Paula Lane reveals name for newborn daughter
Paula welcomed her daughter last month
Former Coronation Street actress Paula Lane gave birth to a baby girl last month and now the proud mum has revealed her adorable name.
Paula and her husband Tom Shaw announced the news that they had welcomed their second child on July 28th in a sweet post on Twitter.
The actress wrote 'She's here! The latest addition to the Shaw clan is doing great.'
Now Paula and Tom have revealed they have chosen to call their daughter Penny Grace.
Penny Grace is Paula and Tom's second child. They already have a son, Arthur, who was born on the 31st December 2014. The couple celebrated their two year wedding anniversary back in May.
Speaking to OK Magazine, Paula revealed details about her 'enjoyable' home birth. She said, "We hired a birthing pool. This time I felt like I'd really cleansed the room. Everything just seemed right. Arthur's birth was magical but it was traumatic. This time around was the polar opposite. I felt so in control and really calm."
Opening up about how the family are coping with the new arrival, Paula said "We’re living in a bubble at the moment, getting used to having two children under the age of two. We really are taking things one day at a time."
Paula, who played popular character Kylie Platt in Coronation Street, is now enjoying time off with her family after leaving the soap last month.
Back in July viewers saw her character stabbed by thug Clayton. She then died in on screen husband David's arms. The actress had chosen to leave after six years on the soap.
