Ciaran took a minus £15,000 offer
The Chase viewers have been left angered after contestant Ciaran decided to take a minus offer of a whopping - £15,000.
After answering two questions correctly in the time round, Ciaran was offered £36,000, £2,000 or minus £15,000. With the backing of his teammates, Ciaran took the minus offer leaving viewers of the popular show outraged.
Fans couldn't believe his decision, with one person even writing 'I've never hated someone so much in my life'.
After a superb performance from the rest of the contestants, the team still played for a whopping £39,000 in the final chaser. However, unfortunately for them (but at the delight of annoyed viewers) the team were caught and went home with nothing.

Ciaran is just one of the latest contestants to be spoken about on social media. Earlier in the year viewers were left in hysterics at a contestant’s 'erection department' story.
79-year-old retired traffic warden Kate was telling show host, Bradley Walsh, about her previous 46 jobs and one in particular left both Bradley and viewers of the show in a fit of giggles.

Kate said "There was one that I was sacked from, where I was working in the erection department. Every time I picked up the phone I had to say the name of the firm and erection department."
Of course viewers of the show loved Kate and her story.
