Sia's fans are suing her for a 'lacklustre' and 'impersonal' performance
Fans who attended Sia's gig in Israel this month aren't happy
Being mysterious is kind of Sia's thing, but her fans who attended a recent gig of hers in Israel aren't happy about it.
Fans who attended Sia's gig at Tel Aviv's Yarkon Park on 11th August have filled a lawsuit against the singer and are seeking refunds for their £70 tickets, according to NME.
The lawsuit claims “Even the live vocals felt impersonal, as the artist never once addressed the crowd, mentioned what it was like to be in Tel Aviv, or bantered in any way."
During the gig, Sia stood at the back of the stage with her hair obscuring her face, which the lawsuit claims left the show feeling "lacklustre". Another complaint is the show featured alot of pre-recorded footage, which fans at the back were unable to see.
Sia's promoter said of the claim: “We wish to emphasise that the show was extremely successful. We have received hundreds of comments from satisfied fans who thoroughly enjoyed the performance and production. In addition, it should be noted that, to the best of our knowledge, the claim was not submitted against Sia herself.”
