Game of Thrones' Sophie Turner revealed her engagement in the most adorable way

Game Of Thrones actress Sophie Turner has announced her engagement to DNCE's Joe Jonas in an adorable post to her Instagram page.

Sophie, who plays Sansa Stark in the hit drama series, shared her exciting news to her 6.9 million Instagram followers as she showed off an dazzling ring on her left hand. Alongside the caption Sophie simply wrote, 'I said yes'.

Fans of the pair were quick to congratulate the couple, one fan wrote, 'CONGRATS MY QUEEN I LOVE YOUUUU 🎉💓🤗', with another adding, 'I love you Sooooophie! You're younger than me yet you already found your FOREVER! Best wishes. Hope you two would last! Congrats! 🎉'. sic

A third then wrote, 'Awwwww my godd' sic

Sophie and Joe have been dating since November last year after they were spotted out and about together in the Netherlands.

Joe first shot to fame in the Jonas Brothers alongside his brothers Nick and Kevin, the band had some major hits including 'SOS', 'Burnin' Up' and even starred in movies such as Camp Rock.

More recently the Jonas Brothers went their separate ways, with Joe enjoying success with his new band DNCE. Earlier this year the group hit Number 4 in the UK Charts with their popular track 'Cake By The Ocean'.

After the announcement, Joe's brother Nick tweeted his congratulations to the couple. Taking to Twitter he wrote, 'Ahh! Congratulations to my brother… and sister in law to be on your engagement. I love you both so much'.

Cute!

Sophie isn't the only Game of Thrones star to announce her engagement. Kit Harington, who plays Sansa's brother on the show, (well he's actually her cousin but they don't know that) got engaged to former co-star Rose Leslie.

Their official engagement announcement was printed in The Times newspaper and read,

'Mr K.C. Harington and Miss R.E. Leslie

'The engagement is announced between Kit, younger son of David and Deborah Harington of Worcestershire, and Rose, middle daughter of Sebastian and Candy Leslie of Aberdeenshire'.

Fans are eagerly anticipating the eighth and final season of Game Of Thrones. When we last saw Sophie's character, Sansa, she was sat alongside her sister Arya (played by Maisie Williams) and her brother Bran (played by Isaac Hempstead Wright) as they once and for all put an end to the plotting by Littlefinger (player by Aidan gillen).

Elsewhere Jon Snow was seen getting intimate with Daenerys Targaryen as he's currently blissfully unaware she's actually his aunt and he's the one true King.

We have a feeling it's not going to end well...

At least Kit's love life in real life runs more smoothly!
