Remember Stavros Flately? The adorable Greek father and son dancing duo Demi and Lagi Demetriou who wowed audiences when they reached the final of Britain’s Got Talent back in 2009? Well, 12 years on, Lagi, who is now 25, is all grown up and expecting a baby with his fiancé Annika Crawford!
The couple, who have become Tik Tok stars, delighted fans when they shared an adorable video announcing that they are expecting a baby. The pair regulary post hilarious Tik Tok videos and are often seen replicating viral dances.
The sweet video, which featured James Arthur’s song 'Say You Won’t Let Go' playing in the background, saw the pair sharing videos of their time together, with the final clip showing Annika revealing her small bump.
They captioned the video: ‘The reason we have been gone for the last 5 months ❤️! We have been keeping a little secret 🥰❤️.’
Annika also announced the happy news on her Instagram page, saying: ‘Our Next chapter – Baby Demetriou.’
Lagi and Annika have been together for five years and got engaged on New Year's Eve 2020. He shared the happy news with fans, posting a picture of Annika sitting on his knee while she showed off her diamond sparkler whilst they sipped on champagne.
Lagi’s new family life comes after he decided to quit Stavros Flatley in 2020, a year after the duo appeared on Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions in 2019.
He told MailOnline at the time: "When we got to The Champions, I thought this was the right time to leave.
"But Simon Cowell told me not to quit forever. So I will return for shows."
He added: "We've done this for 10 years for a joke. We've done so many amazing things but what is there left to do? We've done the Royal Variety, we've played in China, Monaco - everywhere."
