TOWIE fans turn on ‘nasty’ Lydia Bright following Arg showdown
Fans were not happy with Lydia's approach
The Only Way Is Essex fans have turned on cast member Lydia Bright after she made her ex-boyfriend James ‘Arg’ Argent cry on the latest episode.
The popular reality show returned to our screens last night (17th July) with a special The Only Way Is Majorca episode and it didn’t end well for on/off couple Lydia and Arg.
Lydia and Arg were filmed bumping into each other on beach with Lydia seemingly ending their romance for ever after she told him she could no longer be friends.
She said “I don’t want us ever to be friends. I don’t want you to speak to my friends and family. You made me hate you. When I look at you, I despise you. I just can’t get my head around it. I never understand it. And what you did that night, for me is the most disrespectful selfish act that I’ve ever heard of. What you did was disgusting, absolutely disgusting, but you knew you wanna do it”.
After Arg was left sobbing with his head down, Twitter vented their anger at Lydia’s behaviour.
Not everybody was team Arg, some viewers supported Lydia’s decision and sympathised with the reality star.
The couple have been in an on and off relationship for the past seven years and it seemed it was all going well at the end of the last series. However, during the filming break, Arg enjoyed a drug binge with Lydia reportedly finding him ‘out of it’ on a number of occasions.
Lydia took time out from the relationship and travelled to Indonesia for a break where she had time to think about her decisions.
Following on from last night’s episode it seems this could finally be the end for Arg and Lydia!
