Tulisa clears up cosmetic surgery rumours as she shows off new look
The singer admitted to getting 'cosmetic enhancements'
She has been out of the spotlight for years but now Tulisa Contostavlos is back with her new single and has just given one of her most honest interviews ever on Good Morning Britain.
Tulisa appeared on the show to promote her brand new single ‘Sweet Like Chocolate’, a dance remix of the 90’s hit, but it was her honest answers to questions about her life that got viewers of the show talking.
As Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid continued to compliment the former X Factor judge on her appearance, Tulisa opened up about her ongoing cosmetic procedures.
When Piers told Tulisa he thought she looked ‘au naturale’, she said “The fillers were temporary. All of the fillers I had in the past have now dissolved, apart from my lip fillers. I left them in and they are something I have to maintain. I’m a big fan of lip fillers and collagen waves.”
The 28-year-old went on to say “I don’t feel under pressure to do anything though. People ask me if I’m unhappy with myself because they think that’s why I get these treatments, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. I feel so detached from what I am on the outside. The person I am on the inside is very separate.”
Viewers of the show had a mixed reaction to the interview, whilst some praised the singer, others believed she doesn’t need surgery to look beautiful.
Back in July, fans were left confused when Tulisa posted a selfie to her Instagram, with some complaining that they didn’t recognise the star.
In the interview on Good Morning Britain, Tulisa also opened up about her recent drink driving conviction.
Speaking to Susanna Reid, she said “I made a mistake. Everything I have been through has taught me how to become a more understanding person. I care more about other people’s emotions now.”
